How we got here.

Nest of Southport LLC was established in 2002 by Beth as the culmination of a full career in design and marketing stretching from coast to coast, from office to commercial to residential. Even Disneyland Paris was touched by Beth’s design acumen. A graduate of Cornell University, she also holds B.S. in Environmental Design from The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Beth is a Professional Member of the American Society of Interior Designers and served on the Board of the Connecticut Chapter of ASID from 2015 to 2017.

Many people may remember the original Nest of Southport upholstery shop on the Post Road, acquired from Vincent Design  and now Organica after the building was sold. Nest of Southport was located at 362 Pequot Avenue in the heart of Southport Village from 2014 to 2020, sharing a landmark blacksmith’s shop with Runk Douglas Antiques.

In the Fall of 2020, Nest moved to share office space with Geddis Architects just around the corner at 71 Old Post Road.

Nest continues to serve clients from New York to Connecticut and up to Vermont.
